The alcohol swabs contain two hygienically sealed units, each with 100 individually wrapped swabs. They are ideal for the quick and reliable cleaning and disinfection of small areas of skin, for example before injections, punctures, blood draws, or blood glucose measurements.

The swabs are made of a two-ply, lint-free non-woven fabric and are impregnated with 70% isopropyl alcohol. A single swab is sufficient to thoroughly disinfect the skin. Before drawing blood, the treated area should be allowed to dry for approximately 30 seconds until no shine is visible. Each swab is for single use only.

Safety instructions

Avoid contact with eyes. If liquid gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water immediately. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting and seek medical advice immediately. Discontinue use if redness or irritation occurs. If the reaction persists for more than 72 hours, seek medical advice.

For external use only. The swabs are flammable and must therefore be kept away from open flames or heat sources. Keep out of reach of children. Dispose of the swabs properly after use.

Technical data

The swabs measure 65 × 30 mm and are made of a two-layer spunlace nonwoven fabric consisting of a polyester and viscose blend. The material weighs 50 g/m² and is 0.35 mm thick. Each swab contains approximately 0.4 to 0.6 ml of liquid. The active ingredient is 70% isopropyl alcohol; water is also included.
