Product description

Bacteriostatic water (BAC water) is sterile water for preparing injection solutions, containing a small amount of benzyl alcohol (0.9%). The added benzyl alcohol has an antibacterial effect and prevents the growth of microorganisms within the container. This allows the product to be used multiple times for a limited period after initial opening.

BAC water is used to dilute or dissolve certain pharmaceutical substances before they undergo further processing or are administered by qualified personnel. The solution is clear, colorless, and free of particles.
